Everything is perfect here. The staff are top-class, giving their best to make the stay a really really nice experience. A deluxe double room has basic facilities you need. The breakfast is sensational, one of the best things. The location is stunning and fantastic, short walk to the bistro at the window, the restaurant and the hill, we really enjoyed it.

The place was wonderful and impressive, nothing to complain about. the breakfast was sensational, we were provided with a wonderful view and food and drinks. Minutes from a boat dock, the location was great and magnificent, on the valley.

I recommend it as I enjoyed this hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and huge and have stunningly beautiful view over the valley...

terrible bed ,bow shaped when leaned on.it seems it was not replaced for ages.. when i told it on reception during check out, responce was "mmm".great responce...

The location here was amazing, just a few minutes' walk from a pier, and the double room was spacious, offering a lovely view of the garden with a touch of nature and a comfortable bed.

booked a superior double room with an individual safe, air conditioner, and a mini-bar. we had a private bathroom.

The location near the forest and mountain was fantastic, with top-class and very helpful staff making everything perfect, and we enjoyed a pretty nice bedroom.

Steigenberger was beyond my expectation- the location on top of a hill surounded by forrest and view down to the rhine river was great. The building itself combines history, elegance, art and modern amenities including a spa. The service is top notch and the food great. I would stay there again.

the only thing and it is not a complaint, is the distance to the busiuness sector in Bonn if you have to commute every day, taxi from the hotel to the conference centre is about Euro $25. If you take the taxi to the tram in KoengsWinter and then the tram. the taxi is about Euro 10 and the tram Euro 1.75. You can count on 20 to 25 minutes of commute each way.

The view and the "grandeur" from the hotel are top of the bill. You really feel that you stay in a historic landmark, full of luxury.The rooms are up to the standard of Steigenberger, but be sure to ask for a room with Rhine view !

Food is not really what we expect to be from a 5* hotel ; it was quite expensive and presentation and taste were mediocre. Also the opening hours of the Rhine terrace and bistro was quite unusual. It took us a lot of time, persuading and - at the end - a friendly waitress to drink a cup of coffee between breakfast and noon.

Pleasant stay at this hotel, it was spacious and spotless. the surroundings were absolutely stunning in the Bonn area 🌿. I liked how the hotel was conveniently located near the bistro, lush greenery on the hill, and a restaurant.
